An oversold cocktail-dinner-dancing event with a live elephant feeding on February 3, 2023 raised funds for Game Rangers International in Zambia to help rescue and rehabilitate orphaned baby elephants.
The Elephant Preservation Tour took place May 25, 2022 — June 4, 2022. It started in Zambia and went to Zimbabwe. Our SPN preservationists got up close and personal with some of the world’s most iconic species.
The money raised from GLOBAL E-RACE EXTINCTION supported Boots-on-the-Ground organizations that spend every day fighting the poaching crisis and to our GCEP education programs. We exercised with fellow animal-lovers, and hosted insightful panels led by conservationists and celebrities alike.
The Rhino Preservation Tour is an initiative to raise awareness and action against rhino poaching. Stop Poaching Now is a cornerstone of the tour, with its goal being to educate the public about the effects of illegal hunting and encourage them to take action in preserving rhinos. The tour works to protect these majestic animals by providing resources for conservationists, creating local economic opportunities in rural areas, and raising awareness about endangered species.
This is much more than a movement – it’s a way of life. Being aware of the effects our everyday decisions are having on the natural world around us has never been so important. Supporting charitable organizations that are making an impact and facing environmental crises head-on, while remaining mindful and diligent in our day-to-day lives will help build a better future for generations to come.
The charitable foundation Stop Poaching Now! founded by Eclectic Pictures President, Heidi Jo Markel (Olympus has Fallen)  and Executive Board member Sebastian Serrell-Watts, celebrated the first annual Stop Poaching Now! Gala, honoring conservationist Tony Fitzjohn OBE (Wildlife NOW) and featured musical performances by Dave Wakeling (The English Beat), Grammy® Nominee Rocky Dawuni and celebrity DJ Michelle Pesce. Held at the iconic Ago Restaurant in West Hollywood, the gala united the creative community to stop the demand for ivory and other endangered animal products.
